At AMC CHILD CARE CENTER, INC. we care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. We concentrate on the individual child.  As we plan our lesson plans, we consider the growth, development, academic, social, and emotional needs of each child.

AMC CHILD CENTER, INC. is a participant in The Quality Star Program of New York, a state preschool program that sets the standards for the New York preschools.

Communicating with families provides us with essential information to assist us in providing the best strategies for the development of each child. 

Learning through play allows the developing child to learn without pressure or stress, but with fun.

Math (numbers, organizing, sequential order, phonics (letters, sounds, blending) is all introduced to our children through play, as they develop the joy of learning as they play.  Art, science, and cooking are also incorporated into our program with a fun and exciting presentation to our children.  

Physical activity plays a strong role by encouraging children to use their gross motor skills and our teachers join our children in their activities to provide direction for a safe experience.

AMC’s Summer program for children ages 6 to 12 years old provides: academic learning enhancement in the morning, then swimming, trips to the park, sports, arts and crafts, cooking, and trips including bowling, amusement parks, tennis, and field competition.

The after-school program provides homework help, then ping pong, arts and crafts, and tables games when homework is completed.
